Exclusivity and elegance centre stage
When the MAS opened its doors in 2011, the Museum aan de Stroom immediately stood out. It became a total experience, which of course required seamless graphic design. We remain proud of the branding and corporate identity we created for this new Antwerp gem.
As the permanent design partner for the MAS, we created all the derivatives of the corporate identity, but we also took care of the internal signage, in addition to the countless brochures, flyers, posters and campaign images for numerous exhibitions and expos.
The MAS, or Museum aan de Stroom, in Antwerp became an icon immediately after its construction, even in the visible skyline of the city.
In 2009, our studio was commissioned to develop the corporate identity of this new museum and to help launch its opening with a campaign. We were also asked to develop all graphic communications.
As the MAS's permanent design partner, we naturally created all the derivatives of the corporate identity, but we also took care of the internal signage in addition to the hundreds of brochures, flyers, posters and campaign images for numerous exhibitions and expos.
We didn't want to deprive you of some of these achievements, so we collected them on this page!
The exhibition ‘Istanbul. Port City | Antwerp. Port City’ focuses on the decisive role that the port played in the development of Istanbul into the modern city it is today. For the unique, die-cut cover of the accompanying exhibition brochure, we transformed the flow of the Scheldt and the streets of Antwerp into a ‘web’ of connecting roads.
Scenography for exhibitions
When the MAS opened its doors in 2011, our studio was commissioned to develop the corporate identity, but we also designed some of the exhibitions themselves.
A good example of this is the scenography for the exhibition 100x Congo, where we used earthy tones to guide visitors through this captivating exhibition, in close collaboration with the scenographer, the MAS staff and the exhibition producer.
